Abby is the oldest and dominant female in our small gorilla group. She came together with Izan and Tinu from the National Zoo in Pretoria, South Africa. Abby has become Adjibolo’s foster mother and is a great mom, who protects Adjibolo well against the rough play of the older gorillas. She also likes listening keenly to staff when they discuss work plans by the gorilla enclosure.
